Hey, Who are You?

Hi! I’m Allison. I’ve performed in Carnegie Hall, completed a triathlon, and hold the unofficial world record for the fastest time to crack a new phone screen (I tripped in a pothole in front of the Apple Store). So I guess you could say that I’m a woman of *many* talents.

Okay Cool, so what do You do?

The short answer is create things that connect with audiences. It all started back in the fourth grade with my debut role as Hansel in our class play. Once I got my first laugh on stage, I was hooked. Ever since, I’ve been exploring all the ways to bring an idea to life and how best to communicate that idea to others. I’ve dabbled in everything from scripted theatre and improv, to animation and graphic design. The unifying factor in all my interests is the desire to tell a good story, plain and simple.

But like, what do you dO? As a joB?

Currently I’m the Video & Podcast Producer where I created all out video content and run our podcast.

All of what I do is rooted in my comedy background born on the stages of hole-in-the-wall Chicago improv theaters and refined during my time working at The Second City. That’s where I learned that laughter is the most universal form of communication. When used effectively, it can be the best conveyor of any message, no matter the medium. Now I used comedy in my day job to create impactful content that both engages audiences and and helps breakdown complex topics in an approachable way.

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, so I say “ope” at least once an hour. I then headed to the Windy City to study film and digital media production at Loyola University Chicago, so I now have some very strong feelings about ketchup on hotdogs. Post-grad, I moved to DC where I put those skills to use (in between taking far too many photos of the Cherry Blossoms). Now I find myself back home in the buckeye state.
